We are currently seeking motivated and experienced bartenders to join our team at various airport locations. This role plays a crucial part in sustaining the hospitality and customer satisfaction standards that SSP America is known for. The bartender position offers great pay starting at $2.13 plus tips, with open availability required to meet the variable demand of airport service hours. As a bartender, you will be responsible for processing orders accurately using the POS system, handling customer payments, and preparing a wide range of cold, frozen, and hot beverages alongside selected food items. The role requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and the overall work area. Successful bartenders at SSP America must have excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of alcohol service regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in confined spaces for extended periods. Certification as required by local, state, or federal training programs is mandatory, ensuring all bartenders are prepared to provide safe and compliant service. Job Requirements
- 21 years old
- Minimum one year bartending experience required
- Certification by state, federal, or local required training program
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages
- Verbal and written English language
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand weights and measurements
- Brand certification as required
- Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check and order and close out a check
- Ability to work and stand in confined spaces for long periods of time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
- Receive payment from the customer and process change
- Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day
- Clean equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop work area, dust and clean
- Other duties as assigned
