This seasonal bartender position at one of SeaWorld's water parks offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences. The role involves creating and serving a variety of refreshing and delicious drinks and simple concession food items. Serving as a mixologist, you will blend your skills in cocktail preparation with excellent customer service, ensuring each guest has an exceptional visit. Responsibilities include producing bar drinks to prescribed recipe and presentation standards, verifying guest age by checking identification, and upselling premium products when appropriate. In addition to beverage preparation, you will engage with guests to learn their preferences and monitor alcohol consumption compliant with company and state regulations. Operating the Point of Sale terminal, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and restocking inventory to sustain smooth operations are also key aspects of the job. This role guarantees a minimum wage supplemented with tips, providing financial stability while working in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior bartender experience of at least two years is preferred, with a strong command of popular cocktail recipes such as margaritas, cosmopolitans, and mojitos. Familiarity with beverage safety laws and certifications such as Food & Beverage Safety and TABC certification are essential. Experience in theme park environments, especially those serving international guests, along with backgrounds in high-volume nightclubs or restaurants, provide an advantageous foundation for success in this role. Excellent communication, customer service skills, and cash handling expertise are required to foster a positive guest interaction. Basic knowledge of beer, liquor, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages rounds out the ideal qualifications.
