This position is full-time and eligible for tips, with an hourly pay ranging from $11.10 to $11.94. The non-management barman role is integral to creating a memorable and unique guest experience through expert beverage preparation and personalized service. The successful candidate is expected not only to master fundamental bartending skills but also to stay abreast of emerging market trends and evolving guest preferences. This role transcends the traditional scope of bartending by positioning the barman as a host and ambassador of the bar, taking personal responsibility for guest satisfaction and the bar’s appearance and functionality.

The barman will work closely with other hotel departments and the local community, demonstrating passion and meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of their role—from handling cash and providing information to guests to ensuring the highest quality in drink preparation. The demands of the position include creating a safe and professional work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, respecting confidentiality, protecting company assets, and maintaining high standards for uniform, appearance, and communication. The nature of the job involves extensive physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, along with frequent movement encompassing reaching, kneeling, turning, stretching, and bending.
