Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of bartending experience
  • Must be able to communicate in English both orally and in writing
  • Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Availability for nights, weekends, special events, and some holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 lbs independently and over 40 lbs with assistance
  • Must comply with all food and beverage regulations and maintain required certifications

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of verifiable bartending experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
  • Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Knowledge of mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to operate POS systems and manage cash handling
  • Familiarity with sanitation and safety procedures in bar operations
  • Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and handle situations appropriately

Job Duties

  • Prepares and serves a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using established recipes, mixes, and garnishes
  • Takes food orders, heats, and serves various prepared foods or snacks
  • Keeps bar areas clean, neat, and organized, ensuring sanitation and safety
  • Maintains bar inventory, communicates supply needs, and assists in bar stocking
  • Operates point of sale register system and balances cash fund at the end of shifts
  • Checks identification to verify legal age for alcohol or tobacco purchase
  • Assists with special events including setup, beverage station maintenance, and cleanup
  • Reports workplace hazards, injuries, and ensures compliance with safety and food handling regulations
