This particular role is for the position of Bartender at MCAS Yuma, AZ, where the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent beverage service at a full-service bar, service bars, or special events. This role requires expertise and efficiency in preparing a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks by following established recipes and using the correct ingredients, garnishes, and glassware. The Bartender will also manage bar inventory and upkeep to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all food and beverage regulations, including possessing and maintaining food handling and alcohol certifications. This position entails operating point of sale (POS) systems, handling cash transactions responsibly, conducting liquor inventories, and verifying guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase. The Bartender will also assist in special events by setting up and tearing down, maintaining beverage stations, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years bartending experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
- Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills
- Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs independently and with assistance for heavier loads
- Must comply with food and beverage regulations
- Must hold necessary certifications
- Willingness to work in indoor bar environment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepares and serves a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from bar or events using established recipes
- Prepares garnishes for mixed drinks as needed
- Takes food orders and serves prepared foods or snacks
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of bar areas ensuring sanitation and safety
- Washes bar equipment and cleans counters, glassware, and utensils
- Stocks bar properly with supplies, mixes, garnishes, and beverages
- Prepares inventory lists and communicates supply needs to management
- Operates point of sale (POS) register and handles cash transactions and balancing
- Assists in liquor inventories and verifies age of guests for alcohol purchase
- Supports special event setup, maintenance, and cleanup
- Reports hazards and adheres to safety and EEO regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
