This particular role is for the position of Bartender at MCAS Yuma, AZ, where the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent beverage service at a full-service bar, service bars, or special events. This role requires expertise and efficiency in preparing a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks by following established recipes and using the correct ingredients, garnishes, and glassware. The Bartender will also manage bar inventory and upkeep to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all food and beverage regulations, including possessing and maintaining food handling and alcohol certifications. This position entails operating point of sale (POS) systems, handling cash transactions responsibly, conducting liquor inventories, and verifying guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase. The Bartender will also assist in special events by setting up and tearing down, maintaining beverage stations, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of verifiable bartending experience, possess strong communication skills in English, and be computer literate, particularly with basic Microsoft Office applications. Availability for work during nights, weekends, holidays, and special events is required. Physical demands include standing or walking for long periods and lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs.
