MCCS offers a wide range of services and programs, including recreational activities, retail services, child care, food and beverage services, and family support initiatives. The organization is a blend of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors, and volunteers, all working together in a team environment dedicated to serving the needs of the Marine Corps. MCCS is committed to delivering exceptional service, fostering a supportive work environment, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. This comprehensive support system ensures that the Marine Corps community remains strong, resilient, and well-cared-for.

This position is located at Marine Corps Base Hawaii within the Klipper SNCO Bar, offering an exciting opportunity for candidates to serve as a Bartender A04. The role involves mixing and serving premixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a full-service bar, including liquor, soda, beer, and wine. Responsibilities include preparing drinks with the appropriate premixes and garnishes, managing cash transactions, assisting with inventory and record-keeping, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area. The Bartender also ensures that the bar and dining areas are sanitary and presentable, occasionally running food from the kitchen and performing other sanitation duties as needed.

The Bartender position emphasizes delivering world-class customer service with a focus on courtesy, friendliness, and effective communication. The role requires the ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and take appropriate action to resolve issues or seek assistance, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Candidates must adhere to safety regulations and workplace standards, promptly reporting any hazards or incidents. Additionally, the role supports the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) and the prevention of sexual harassment within the workplace.

Working conditions include standing or walking for prolonged periods, lifting and carrying objects up to 45 pounds independently, and using equipment such as dollies to transport items like beer kegs. The environment is indoors with adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation, though occasionally subject to minor physical risks such as cuts or bruises. This role offers a dynamic work atmosphere within a military community setting, supporting the morale and well-being of service members and their families.
