- prior hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- basic math competency

Job Qualifications
- hotel experience preferred
- excellent guest communication skills
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcoholic beverage service
- basic math skills for cash register operation change making summarizing guest checks banking cash drops and portion control
- manual dexterity to make garnishes handle glassware and bottles scoop ice mix drinks and retrieve stock
- ability to remember and promote menu items
- ability to operate point of sale keyboarding to process orders and close checks
- ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- ability to establish effective relationships with associates guests and patrons
- effective verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- maintains proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking beer wine spirits paper products straws stirrers condiments and produce based on daily function projections
- maintains stock cutting and storing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes juices and perishables daily to ensure product quality
- greets guests courteously and promotes documents drink orders
- mixes garnishes and presents drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- abides by all state federal and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- inputs orders into point of sale register creates checks for guests including those served by other servers to maintain accountability
- receives cash makes change verifies charges records charges and ensures vouchers are executed to balance money
- locks and stores beverage food and equipment items secures cash drops and bank
- complies with attendance rules and maintains regular availability
- performs other job related duties as assigned
