Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age
able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
able to work in hot and cold temperature environments
able to work in noisy, fast-paced and distracting conditions
able to read and write handwritten notes
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
able to stand and walk for 100% of shift
able to frequently reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe
dressed in proper dress code, neat, clean, and professional
able to communicate clearly in English
willing to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

restaurant and/or bar experience preferred
skilled in communication with guests to generate enthusiasm
able to read and communicate in English
friendly with ability to smile frequently
knowledgeable of food and drink menu items and preparation
capable of operating Micros point of sale system
able to work in a fast-paced environment
able to follow sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
able to work cooperatively with team members

Job Duties

deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games
keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or significant matters
create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
adhere to sanitation procedures
maintain responsibility for personal bank and financial transactions
follow alcohol awareness procedures
assess guest demeanor and report to manager as needed
follow bar recipes to control costs and maximize satisfaction
keep station clean and set up/take down tables
greet guests in a friendly and timely manner
accurately take food and drink orders
maintain thorough knowledge of menu items
enter orders into Micros point of sale system
complete station side work at start and end of shift
operate Micros and conduct accurate credit card transactions
ensure proper food presentation and delivery
work efficiently using "full hands in, full hands out" philosophy
participate in sales incentives and contests
complete bar inventories and daily requisitions
perform opening and closing duties
assist in party setup and breakdown
support other team members
bus and reset tables as needed
ensure guest satisfaction by checking back, maintaining drink levels, and removing clutter
maintain good working relationships with team members
communicate orders and needs effectively
maintain friendly demeanor and smile frequently
