Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Must have open availability including weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in compliance with liquor regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and operate point of sale systems
  • Willingness to learn and participate in training

Job Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior bar or bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

Job Duties

  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • Sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary supplies
  • Maintains stock and prepares fresh garnishes and perishables
  • Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Takes and processes drink orders according to standard recipes
  • Checks guest identification for legal compliance
  • Monitors guest intoxication and acts accordingly
  • Handles cash transactions and secures cash and deposits
  • Performs general cleaning and maintains organization of work area
  • Arranges bottles and glassware for attractive bar displays
  • Washes and sterilizes stemware
  • Performs other duties as assigned
