Job Requirements

  • Must be TABC certified
  • Possession of Servsafe or similar Food Handler's Certificate may be required depending on store location
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
  • Proficiency with point of sale systems such as Aloha
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Experience in bartending or a related field preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the bar and lounge areas
  • Ensure all necessary items are stocked including beer wine liquor garnishes plate ware silverware and glassware
  • Suggestively sell guests appropriate food and beverage items using menus and Bar 79 promotional materials
  • Utilize and follow Perry's Restaurants' 40 steps of service to ensure all guests have an enjoyable and complete dining experience
  • Properly enter and order all food and beverage items into the Aloha Point of Sale system
