Their reputation in the hospitality sector is supported by a robust service culture that emphasizes respect, authenticity, and a commitment to prioritizing the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
The company is known for its inclusive, employee-focused workplace environment where team members are encouraged to feel engaged, empowered, and excited about their growth. SHG believes its greatest asset is its people and invests heavily in their professional and personal development. Beyond that, SHG fosters a fun, flexible, and rewarding work atmosphere filled with exciting perks and a comprehensive benefits package.
One of the exciting opportunities currently available at Schulte Hospitality Group is for a dynamic, service-oriented Bartender to join the team at 420 Julia. This role is essential in upholding SHGs service standards and ensuring a memorable experience for guests by providing courteous, efficient, and attentive service at the bar.
The Bartender will be responsible for setting up the bar with adequate supplies, preparing drinks according to company standards and guests' preferences, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction, monitoring alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking, and handling payments securely. Beyond these core duties, the Bartender plays a vital role in fostering the hospitable environment SHG is known for, ensuring guests feel valued and well cared for.
This is a tipped position requiring at least three years of bartending experience, with certification in bartending and alcohol awareness preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverage standards and service practices, strong verbal communication skills, an ability to exceed guest expectations, and be a meticulous team player dedicated to detail.
Schulte Hospitality Group offers competitive compensation for the Bartender role, and the hiring process may include phone and manager interviews, drug screening, background and reference checks, and potentially an employment assessment to ensure mutual fit.
Joining SHG as a Bartender means becoming part of an organization that supports its employees from day one, offering daily pay options, free access to telemedicine and virtual mental health care, multiple health and life insurance options, a 401k plan with company match, paid parental leave, paid time off, holiday pay, pet insurance, an employee assistance program, and special discounts on an array of lifestyle needs. These benefits reflect the company's comprehensive approach to employee welfare and career advancement.
