The position available is for a Bartender who is highly motivated and customer-focused. The primary responsibility is to deliver memorable hospitality experiences by making genuine and personable connections with guests and providing engaging service from the initial greeting until departure. The role requires understanding guest needs while preparing perfect beverages swiftly and accurately. Job Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience required
  • Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests
  • Ability to understand written English to read caution or safety notices
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise transport up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Prior bartending experience
  • Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests
  • Ability to understand written English to read caution or safety notices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and individually
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
  • Adhere to standards set forth by management and company
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests
  • Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
  • Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
  • Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
  • Learn and follow proper steps of service for all guest interactions
  • Work alone and in a team to include serving, bussing, running, general cleaning and special projects as assigned by management
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank and other assigned duties
