Homestead is a historic and reimagined four-season resort situated in the scenic Wasatch Mountains in Midway, Utah. We are currently seeking an outgoing and friendly Bartender to join our dynamic team at Homestead. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and serving a diverse range of drinks, ensuring exceptional customer service, and providing guests with an unforgettable experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. This position requires an individual who enjoys engaging with guests, possesses in-depth knowledge of drink recipes, and is dedicated to delivering top-notch service. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year bartending experience
  • Possession of food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • Knowledge of various drink recipes and bar terminology
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must meet legal drinking age requirements
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prefer 1 year of bartending experience
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Display knowledge of drink recipes
  • Knowledge of wine and drink merchandising specials
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Working knowledge of drink service and bar terminology
  • Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Craft and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, and beer
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and ensure compliance with legal drinking age
  • Read and understand drink recipes and special promotions
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations
