The company prides itself on creating an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere for movie lovers of all ages, combining comfort, convenience, and entertainment in every visit. Employees at Regal are valued team members who play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s high standards of service and overall guest satisfaction.
The role of a Bartender at Regal Cinemas is an integral part of the guest service team. This position can vary from variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular to full-time hourly employment, depending on the theater's needs and employee availability. The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to provide fast, friendly, and exceptional service by preparing and serving alcoholic beverages in a clean and safe environment. They ensure a positive experience for every guest by adhering to company guidelines, legal regulations, and quality standards. Being a crucial face of the theater, the Bartender's duties not only include beverage preparation but also encompass promoting company programs such as the Crown Club, handling transactions accurately, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Bartenders must have a genuine passion for guest satisfaction and uphold the company’s mission and values through professional conduct. They must be of legal age to serve alcohol and are required to complete all applicable training, including the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training and other state or local mandated certifications. The position requires reliable attendance and the ability to work efficiently during peak times. This role also demands knowledge of various operational procedures including opening, closing, emergency, and robbery protocols. Exceptional sales skills like up selling and suggestive selling are important to enhance concession sales and improve guest experiences.
This job demands excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers, co-workers, and management. It also requires physical stamina, as employees frequently stand, walk, and handle a variety of tasks that may require lifting up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role emphasizes safety, orderliness, and adherence to dress code and food safety laws.
In terms of compensation, the hourly rate is competitive and will be specified upon application or interview. Benefits include free movie passes, discounted concessions at any Regal location, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching for eligible employees aged 21 and above who have completed six months of service. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who seek a dynamic work environment within the entertainment sector while building customer service and hospitality skills that contribute to a vibrant team culture and memorable guest experiences.
