Beyond being an employer, Red Lobster values its role in creating special moments for its customers and building a professional family atmosphere for its employees.
This opportunity is for the position of Bartender, a crucial role in delivering excellent guest experiences. The bartender is responsible for welcoming customers, preparing drinks according to company standards, suggesting menu items, and maintaining a hospitable bar environment. This full-time position offers weekly pay and competitive wages ranging from $16.90 to $25.00 per hour, complemented by flexible scheduling to accommodate employees' diverse needs. Red Lobster supports its team members through comprehensive benefits such as affordable health, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, life and short-term disability insurance, and voluntary benefits. Employees also benefit from a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay when eligibility requirements are met, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as guests.
The role involves preparing the bar area before shifts, stocking beverages, using proper recipes and garnishes for drinks, accurately entering orders into the POS system, and ensuring customers receive attentive service throughout their visit. Adherence to food safety standards and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and stand for shifts lasting from 8 to 12 hours. Candidates must be at least the minimum legal working age and authorized to work in the United States.
Red Lobster fosters a team-oriented workplace, values attention to detail, and encourages multitasking abilities. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties. With exciting future plans and a strong team culture, Red Lobster offers a promising career path with training and advancement opportunities. The company proudly maintains a commitment to equal employment opportunities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
