Life Time is a premier fitness and lifestyle company dedicated to helping its members achieve their best lives through a comprehensive range of health, fitness, and wellness services. Known for its innovative approach to fitness and community engagement, Life Time offers a unique environment combining state-of-the-art fitness facilities, swimming pools, spas, tennis courts, and healthy dining options. This company fosters a culture of health, diversity, and support while providing an inviting space for both members and employees to thrive. Life Time promotes a balanced work-life environment emphasizing professional growth, training, and development, making it an employer of choice within the fitness lifestyle industry.

The Bartender role at Life Time is integral to delivering exceptional customer service while adhering strictly to alcohol serving laws and venue policies. This hourly position starts at $16.50 per hour and can go up to $19.50 based on experience and qualifications, offering a competitive wage within the industry. The bartender’s primary responsibility is to craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests accurately and efficiently. They create cocktails by following established recipes and ensure orders are garnished appropriately. This role involves more than just drink preparation; interaction with customers is vital, requiring bartenders to respond promptly to questions, check identification responsibly, handle payments, and maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor at all times. Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar environment is crucial to operational success, where bartenders will clean surfaces, furniture, and equipment routinely. Stock management, including replenishing beverages like liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic ingredients, and replacing beer barrels, is part of the day-to-day tasks. At the end of the shift, bartenders reconcile the cash register to ensure accurate accountability of sales. Life Time requires bartenders to hold an alcohol serving certification and expects CPR/AED certification to be acquired within 30 days of hiring. This role demands physical stamina, as bartenders must be able to repeatedly bend and lift items weighing over 20 pounds and stand or move for long periods throughout the café or bar area. Candidates with bartending experience, particularly those familiar with inventory and ordering processes, will find opportunities for success and growth within this supportive company culture. Life Time equips its team members with professional training and development resources to enhance skills and advance careers, making this more than just a job but a stepping stone into a vibrant industry. The bartender role is thus ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent service in a fast-paced, community-focused setting while fostering safe and enjoyable member experiences.
