Job Description

Red Lobster is a prominent American restaurant chain with a deep-rooted history that spans over fifty years, originally founded as a family-owned seafood restaurant. The company's mission has always been to create a special connection between its customers and seafood, alongside sharing the coastal experience. Today, Red Lobster has grown into a family of over 500 restaurants, where each location serves as an extension of its founding passion. The company prides itself on being much more than just a place to eat or work; it is a community hub where new friends become familiar faces, and guests enjoy memorable meals and cherished moments. Red Lobster emphasizes its commitment to the communities it serves, making it a family-friendly and welcoming environment.

The role of Bartender at Red Lobster is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and have a passion for hospitality. This position offers weekly pay, competitive salaries, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay (subject to eligibility), discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster also invests in its employees by providing training and career advancement opportunities to help team members grow within the company.

Bartenders are essential members of the team at Red Lobster, responsible for welcoming customers with a friendly smile, preparing the bar stations, including glassware and pouring stations before opening, and replenishing drinks and garnishes as needed during shifts. They suggest drink, appetizer, and dessert pairings, prepare beverages precisely following recipes, glassware, and garnishes, and accurately take food and drink orders by entering them into the POS system. Bartenders ensure customers receive attentive service, offer refills, clear unused items, process payments promptly, and invite guests to return. In addition to providing exceptional guest service, bartenders follow all food safety regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment. The role requires physical stamina for standing 8 to 12-hour shifts, the ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, and a collaborative mindset with attention to detail and multitasking skills. Red Lobster is committed to making reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Red Lobster's future is bright, with exciting plans underway, and they encourage motivated individuals to join their family today. The company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that fosters an inclusive and welcoming workforce free from discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. This role is perfect for candidates seeking a supportive workplace, meaningful benefits, and a chance to be part of a leading seafood restaurant brand.
