We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender who will play a key role in enhancing our guests' overall experience. This full-time position involves engaging with guests throughout their visit, providing outstanding service from greeting to farewell. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of our food and beverage menus, including cocktails, wine, and beer, to offer insightful recommendations and answer any guest inquiries. The role requires the ability to mix, pour, and present drinks accurately and attractively, as well as the capability to handle all cash and credit transactions responsibly. Our bartender works closely with other staff members, including servers, hosts, and management, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

In addition to bartending duties, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining the bar area, managing inventory, and supporting barback responsibilities as needed. Attention to detail, multitasking, and proactive communication are essential to succeed in this dynamic role. The position also involves using POS systems to enter orders efficiently and contributing to a positive and productive workplace. Educational sessions and development opportunities are provided to help team members stay updated with industry knowledge and enhance their skills. We welcome bilingual individuals, particularly those fluent in Spanish and English, as this facilitates better communication with our diverse clientele.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of bartending experience
Ability to stand for long periods
Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
Proficiency in POS system usage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and food menus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with POS systems
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

Greet, serve, and communicate with guests throughout their visit to ensure a positive and memorable experience
Maintain high knowledge of the food, cocktail, wine, and beer menus to explain the items to guests in an enthralling way
Properly measure, mix, pour, and serve all drinks for guests at the bar and in the dining room
Respond to guests' questions while suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, specials, etc.
Properly present, open and serve wine
Work with other bartenders as well as with management, servers, hosts, bussers, and food runners to create a seamless dining experience for our guests
Enter all orders via POS system in a timely manner according to guests' coursing preferences
Work with a purpose
continually fill waters, pre bus, reset/wipe down bar top, complete side work, help fellow employees, and complete additional assigned tasks to provide a productive and positive work environment
Responsible for all barback responsibilities if no barback is present including restocking, filling ice, dishwashing, cutting fruit, emptying trash etc.
Effectively handle all cash and credit card transactions with care
Attend educational/developmental sessions as required
