Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or private club
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 85 lbs, and move kegs and bar stock as needed
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service
- Must possess a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
- Must possess a valid California Food Handler Card
Job Qualifications

- Wine, beer and spirits knowledge (certifications a plus)
- Experience in private clubs or fine dining environments
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Maintain draft beer system, including troubleshooting issues, changing kegs, and replacing gas cylinders as needed
- Prepare fresh ingredients and garnishes, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with cocktail program standards
- Prepare fresh juices, syrups, and other house-made ingredients for cocktail production
- Produce large-format ice and monitor inventory levels to ensure consistent availability for service
- Operate bar television and house audio systems, including selecting channels, prioritizing live sporting events, and ensuring systems are turned on and off as needed for service
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with requisitioning and restocking all bar products and supplies, including liquor, wine, beer, soft drinks, juices, fresh ingredients, garnishes, and paper goods
- Assists with and participates in monthly inventory counts
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, credit card processing, and reconciliation of chits
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all applicable laws and club policies
- Maintain strong working knowledge of an ample beverage program, including wines by the glass, beer selections, and a diverse spirits portfolio
- Provide recommendations and engage with members to enhance the guest experience
- Coordinate with service staff and management to ensure timely and accurate beverage service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for bar areas, equipment, and glassware
- Verify pool tables, foosball table, and dart board are in proper working order and ready for use
- Assist with setup and service for special events and private functions
- Flex between bartender and server roles based on business needs, maintaining consistent service standards and supporting overall floor operations
- Report maintenance issues, inventory shortages, or operational concerns to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
