Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain proudly serving customers for more than fifty years. It originated from a family-owned restaurant with a vision to connect people with the essence of seafood and coastal dining experiences. Today, this thriving company operates over 500 restaurants, each one upholding the founding passion and commitment to quality and hospitality. Red Lobster isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a community hub where friends become family, and memorable moments are created around every table. Their dedication to exceptional food, friendly service, and community involvement has positioned them as a beloved brand in the dining industry.
This job opportunity is for a Bartender at Red Lobster, offering a dynamic role in one of the country’s leading seafood restaurant chains. The company offers a competitive weekly pay structure, flexible working hours, and a wide array of benefits including affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than ten dollars per week. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay subject to eligibility, discounted shift meals, 25% discount on dining as a guest, and career advancement opportunities through comprehensive training programs.
As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you will be the face of hospitality, welcoming guests warmly and serving beverages with excellence. You will prepare and maintain the bar area, ensuring it is fully stocked and clean before and during service. You will be expected to suggest sales of drinks, appetizers, and desserts, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Precision is key as you accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system, prepare drinks to company standards using prescribed recipes, glassware, and garnishes, and manage customer interactions to ensure satisfaction. Timely delivery and settlement of bills, adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining an organized workspace are crucial aspects of the job. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds safely, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
Red Lobster places a strong emphasis on an inclusive work atmosphere, providing equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. This role not only delivers a competitive salary and great benefits package but also opens doors to growth and advancement within a company that truly values its employees and their contributions to the hospitality experience. If you are passionate about customer service, teamwork, and seafood hospitality, this is the ideal role to join a family-oriented and thriving brand with a great future ahead.
