The Bartender position at Life Time plays a vital role in ensuring a positive and enjoyable beverage service experience for members and guests. This hourly position offers wages starting at $13.50 and can go up to $16.25 based on experience and qualifications. The role requires the bartender to not only prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following established recipes but also to interact courteously and professionally with customers. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and sanitary bar environment in compliance with health and safety regulations and follow all alcohol serving laws meticulously. From checking identification to accepting payments and answering queries, the bartender must deliver prompt and friendly service. This role also involves restocking supplies such as liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic ingredients, ensuring the bar is adequately equipped to meet demand. At the completion of each shift, reconciling the cash register accurately is a key responsibility. This position requires physical stamina to work in a stationary position and move around the café for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift items routinely. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications

- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Experience with inventory and ordering preferred
Job Duties
- Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks including adding garnish
- Serves members and customers in a timely fashion including checking identification accepting payment and answering any questions that may arise
- Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface furniture and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar or kitchen
- Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors wines beer and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
- Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
