The Wind Creek Event Center is currently seeking part-time bartenders who are committed to delivering high-quality customer service during all occasions where alcohol is served. This role is critical in upholding the venue's reputation for excellent guest experiences by ensuring efficient and courteous beverage service while maintaining strict compliance with all alcohol service regulations and inventory control. Successful candidates will be responsible for setting up and servicing assigned bar locations, verifying guests' identification in accordance with liquor laws, handling cash and credit transactions with precision, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the bar area. They will also monitor guest consumption to promote responsible alcohol service and contribute to closing duties such as cash reconciliation and restocking. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Minimum one year of high-volume front-of-house or bartending experience preferred
- Prior experience in hospitality, arena, entertainment venue, or restaurant environment strongly preferred
Job Qualifications
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
- Ability to remain calm, use sound judgment, and respond appropriately in high-pressure or high-volume environments
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices, liquor laws, and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced event environment
- Ability to maintain accuracy while handling cash and inventory in a high-volume setting
- Ability to adapt to changing event conditions and maintain professionalism in loud or high-activity environments
- Strong situational awareness and ability to identify and report safety or compliance concerns
Job Duties
- Set up and service assigned bar or beverage locations before and during events
- Provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to all guests
- Enforce all liquor laws and venue policies, including verifying proper identification and adhering to service limits
- Accurately process cash and credit transactions and maintain inventory control sheets
- Verify and account for all liquor, beer, wine, and related inventory before, during, and after shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all bar work areas in accordance with safety and health standards
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service practices
- Assist with closing duties including cash reconciliation, cleanup, and restocking
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management or supervisory staff
