Job Description
Credence, a distinguished fine dining establishment, is more than just a place to eat; it represents a crafted culinary experience deeply rooted in South Texas's rich heritage. Drawing inspiration from South Texas ranch life and culture, Credence offers an upscale dining experience that incorporates the visionary perspectives of Levi Goode on local food, people, and their traditions. Adjacent to Credence, the Sidebar provides an exclusive, reservation-only speakeasy cocktail bar, inspired by the early-1900s Texas oil boom, subtly connected to offer guests a seamless transition between exemplary dining and sophisticated mixology. Together, these venues redefine the landscape of high-end dining and cocktail culture in the region. As part of the Levi Goode Brands, Credence is committed to maintaining a high standard of hospitality and culinary excellence, welcoming passionate individuals to join its team.
The role of a bartender at Credence is central to the team and guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine. Collaborating closely with the Sommelier and Beverage Director, the bartender will not only excel in beverage preparation but also take a leadership role in educating the team, refining the beverage program, and setting the standard for hospitality and professional service within the bar. Credence bartenders are expected to be experts and storytellers, embodying the brand's passion for authentic Texas experiences rooted in Southern Hospitality. They play a crucial role in guiding guests through the menu, recommending perfect pairings, and ensuring that every drink crafted enhances the overall dining experience. This position requires an individual who is passionate about learning, team-oriented, and dedicated to creating memorable experiences for both customers and colleagues. The bartender's responsibilities encompass daily bar operations, service excellence, inventory management, and ongoing training and development. Credence values enthusiasm, sophistication, and a positive attitude, qualities that are essential for anyone wishing to be a part of this pioneering fine dining and cocktail team. This position offers a stimulating environment for growth within a brand that honors tradition while pushing the boundaries of modern hospitality.
