Job Description

Despite our impressive portfolio expansion, our focus remains firmly on people, both our Team Members and guests, which forms the foundation of our culture. Our company culture is centered on delivering memorable experiences that resonate with everyone involved. We continuously seek individuals who work well collaboratively towards a unified purpose, nurturing an environment where teamwork and mutual support drive success. Ascent Hospitality values strong communicators, passionate leaders, and innovative trendsetters who thrive on challenges and embrace change with a positive mindset. We pride ourselves on cultivating a welcoming atmosphere where all parties feel valued and respected. Joining Ascent Hospitality means becoming part of an organization committed to growth, excellence, and exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

We are currently looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to join our team as a Bartender. This role offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401k plan with employer match, paid time off, uniforms for most positions, and a Team Member Hotel Discount Program. As a bartender at Ascent Hospitality, you will be the heart of our beverage service, delivering an exceptional guest experience with warmth, creativity, and professionalism. Your passion for mixology and enthusiasm for new beverage trends will allow you to craft seasonally inspired cocktails that delight our guests. You will maintain an energetic and welcoming bar setting where guests feel comfortable and valued. Your ability to recommend drinks and engage in engaging conversation will enhance the overall atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.

In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and stocking of the bar, ensuring adequate inventory of beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, and condiments. Maintaining the quality of fresh produce and perishables daily is key to providing an outstanding beverage experience. You will strictly adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, including state and federal alcohol service laws. Handling cash accurately, managing orders through the point of sale system, and securing bar and cash bank at closing are essential components of your duties. Flexibility with shifts including weekends and holidays is expected, and your excellent customer service skills combined with teamwork will help drive the success of our hospitality environment. This position requires physical dexterity and stamina, as you will be standing for extended periods, performing multiple physical tasks, and managing the flow of operations efficiently. This is an ideal opportunity for an energetic professional who enjoys creating artisan cocktails, engaging with guests, and being part of a dedicated team in a professional and supportive setting.
