Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in serving and hosting in restaurant settings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for eight hours
  • Ability to lift, move, or push up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Adherence to company safety and attendance policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience serving and hosting in a restaurant setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic cooking knowledge is a plus

Job Duties

  • Practice OSHA standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide genuine, warm service to all guests throughout their dining experience
  • Promote and document orders for drinks, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and prudent portion control
  • Input orders into the register, create checks, maintain accountability of beverages served
  • Stay knowledgeable about current menu choices, specialties, or deviations
  • Prepare and clean tables, refill condiments, assist with guest requests
  • Communicate special guest requests to kitchen
  • Tend bar, serve cocktails, provide drink pairing recommendations
  • Work as barista to prepare coffee and tea
  • Act as cashier to process purchases and provide receipts and change
  • Clean as needed or directed by supervisor
  • Assist with special events as requested
  • Maintain daily bar setup, stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, and condiments
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh garnishes and perishables
  • Abide by all applicable laws for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Notify manager of intoxicated or unruly guests
  • Balance and verify charges, execute vouchers properly
  • Follow company closing procedures for guest checks
  • Lock and store beverages, food, and equipment
  • Comply with attendance rules including work on holidays and weekends
  • Clean bar equipment nightly
  • Follow uniform and grooming standards
  • Serve food if requested
  • Operate bar equipment
  • Unpack deliveries, stock bar, change beer kegs
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned
