The position offers an exciting, fast-paced work environment where you will develop a diverse set of skills and be part of creating an 'Experience of a Lifetime' for everyone who visits.

The employment type is Summer Seasonal 2026, with both full-time and part-time hours available. Compensation is highly competitive within the industry, starting at $16.90 to $16.95 per hour, with guaranteed tipped positions making a minimum of $20 per hour inclusive of tips. New team members benefit from robust employee perks including free ski passes, discounted lift tickets for family and friends, complimentary ski and snowboard lessons, and 40% discounts on retail merchandise. Additional benefits include lodging discounts, food savings, shuttle discounts, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee assistance programs, comprehensive training and professional development through the Epic Service program, and referral bonuses. Housing availability may also be offered to qualifying employees.

This bartender position caters to those who are enthusiastic about mountain life and guest engagement but may not have prior bartender experience, as all necessary skills will be taught on the job. The role requires standing for extended periods of time, physical stamina to bend, lift, and carry objects up to 40 pounds, and a minimum age of 18 years. Vail Resorts embraces diversity and equal opportunity, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to apply and receive consideration without discrimination.

Overall, joining Vail Resorts as a Bartender not only means gaining valuable experience in the hospitality and service industry but also becoming part of a passionate community dedicated to outdoor adventure, exceptional service, and lifelong friendships.
