As a celebrated brand, Smokey Bones combines a passion for great food with an inviting atmosphere, making it a beloved destination for guests seeking exceptional meals and memorable moments. The restaurant's menu features a variety of slow-smoked and fire-grilled meats, complemented by a diverse selection of bourbons, whiskeys, domestic, import, and local craft beers, as well as signature handcrafted cocktails. Beyond its flavorful offerings, Smokey Bones prides itself on cultivating a welcoming environment both for guests and employees alike, earning the distinction of being a Certified Great Place to Work for two consecutive years. This status reflects the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, fun, and supportive workplace culture where team members are encouraged to be their authentic selves and thrive professionally.

The role of a Bartender at Smokey Bones involves much more than simply mixing drinks; it encompasses delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring an enjoyable guest experience from start to finish. Individuals in this position are responsible for rolling clean silverware for service, maintaining a neat and orderly bar area, and efficiently managing cleaning and resetting tasks after guests depart. Bartenders assist guests by preparing beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards, and they may also support food running during busy periods. A key element of the job is effective communication and teamwork, where bartenders collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to meet guest needs seamlessly. They must be capable of handling guest issues professionally and escalating them to management when necessary, always aiming to enhance guest satisfaction.

This position requires working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands high energy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stand and remain active for extended periods. Bartenders at Smokey Bones are expected to adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and comply with all state laws regarding alcohol service. Flexibility in scheduling and the capacity to thrive in both cold and hot settings are important, as is the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Smokey Bones offers competitive pay, the opportunity to earn daily cash tips, meal discounts, scholarships for employees and their families, and access to an extensive discounts hub right from day one. The company also provides an Employee Life Assistance Program, health benefits, and career growth opportunities, reinforcing its commitment to employees’ well-being and development.

Working at Smokey Bones means joining a company that values and celebrates its family members. The supportive atmosphere encourages collaboration, personal growth, and a strong sense of community that extends beyond just a workplace. With its vibrant culture and a comprehensive benefits package, Smokey Bones stands out as an employer of choice in the restaurant industry. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy engaging with diverse guests, and want to contribute to a fun and thriving team, this bartender position offers a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in an established and respected restaurant group.
