The role available is for a seasoned Bartender eager to contribute to Nobu Miami's high standards of hospitality and service. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about craft beverages and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. The Bartender will be an integral part of the bar team, responsible for delivering the Nobu style of gracious, attentive, and efficient service. Key responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, preparing a variety of drinks using established recipes, and ensuring a clean and organized bar area. Handling customer transactions through POS systems, maintaining inventory and stock levels, and adhering to health and safety standards are also essential functions of this role. Candidates must have prior experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting and demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
Experience handling cash and operating point-of-sales (POS) and credit/debit card processing systems
Professional speaking and written communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively
Professional dress, speech, and behavior
Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

One year of relevant experience
Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
Excellent customer service focus
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Ensures proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis by requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce according to established policies
Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
Prepares and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practices prudent portion control
Operates the complete POS system and other required software
Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
