This role is for a Bartender position within the HMSHost family of restaurants. The position offers a wage range of $10.98 to $14.00 per hour and is a non-exempt role typically reporting to a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders for drinks and food, mixing beverages following established recipes, serving beer and other drinks, and handling payment transactions. The role demands excellent communication skills for effectively coordinating with management and serving staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar, adhere strictly to alcohol awareness and customer service policies, and provide a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere for all guests. Experience in high-volume or fast casual dining environments is preferred, along with knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. This role requires physical stamina to lift or move up to 40 pounds and frequent hand immersion in water or cleaning solutions.
