They are also expected to have comprehensive knowledge of Cooper's Hawk’s entire menu, including food, drink, and especially the wine programs. Because of the company's focus on wine and culinary education, the Bartender has the opportunity to expand their expertise continually and play an instrumental role in promoting the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club.

The Bartender is responsible for greeting guests personally and warmly, anticipating their needs, and offering tailored recommendations for wines, cocktails, and food based on guest preferences. Communication within the team is critical to ensuring accuracy and timeliness of orders, and the Bartender is expected to consistently follow recipes and portion standards. Throughout the shift, maintaining an inviting and guest-ready bar area through cleanliness and organization is key. These responsibilities underscore the need for multitasking ability, quick thinking, and a genuine passion for creating an outstanding guest experience.

In addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills, Cooper's Hawk values flexibility and teamwork. Bartenders are encouraged to assist in other areas when needed, including retail sales and Wine Club support, proving themselves as indispensable team members. The role demands physical stamina, as it requires standing and walking up to 10 hours per shift, along with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
