The Bartender role at Logans Roadhouse is a vital position responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the bar. This includes setting up and stocking the bar with necessary ingredients and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, coordinating the delivery of drinks and food, and mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the restaurant's recipes and standards. The bartender works closely not only with other bartenders but also with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and an excellent guest experience.

This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, as bartenders are often the face of the establishment for guests at the bar. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old to pour alcohol or as state regulations dictate
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bartending experience preferred
  • Successful completion of company-required training and passing alcohol certification within 60 days of employment
  • Adheres to Logans Roadhouse appearance standards
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, kneeling, walking and handling materials
  • Ability to communicate effectively in face-to-face or telecommunications
  • Ability to distinguish color, depth perception and peripheral vision

Job Duties

  • Check guests' identification and serve alcoholic drinks adhering to state and local regulations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare drinks, serve draft beer, bottled beer, wine and liquor according to procedure/recipe and restaurant specifications
  • Perform correct money transactions and make correct change utilizing Point-of-Sale system
  • Communicate with guests and team members to promote specials and suggestions
  • Reconcile daily bar inventories with bar cash-received totals
  • Maintain neat, clean and organized bar area according to restaurant specifications
  • Perform other side duties assigned by management such as taking out linen, restocking, checking restrooms, refilling ice, and assisting other FOH and BOH team members
