The role of Bartender at Hornblower Group is a critical customer-facing position requiring both excellent mixology skills and outstanding hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing high-quality beverages for guests and service bars aboard the vessels, ensuring that every drink is prepared to perfection while delivering prompt, courteous, and hospitable service to guests and colleagues. The bartender must be knowledgeable about not only the beverage offerings but also the vessel and its scenic environment, thus enriching the guest experience with insightful commentary about the skyline and cruise routes.

This position demands a high level of attention to detail, especially when following drink recipes precisely and handling transactions accurately via the point-of-sale system. Bartenders must maintain a clean and safe bar environment, adhering to standard operating procedures, and continuously restock supplies to meet par levels. They ensure that all bar-related equipment and work areas, including glassware and refrigerators, are spotless and in optimal condition to provide a seamless service.
