With a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, HHM Hotels prides itself on fostering a welcoming work environment where all employees are valued and respected regardless of race, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, disability, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship status, or any other protected group. The company's culture emphasizes excellent service, agility, accountability, and a heart-centered approach to hospitality. Their values, including People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, guide their operations and interactions.
The opportunity for a Bartender at HHM Hotels is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding beverage and food service in a dynamic and guest-focused setting. As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in maintaining guest satisfaction by serving beverages and/or food promptly and courteously. This position involves maintaining a clean and organized bar area, preparing and garnishing drinks, verifying the age of guests to comply with alcohol purchase laws, and contributing to a pleasant dining and bar experience.
This role offers a clear career advancement path from Beverage Manager to Restaurant Supervisor, further progressing to Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Manager roles, enabling professional development within the hospitality industry. The bartender will also engage in inventory management, sustainability practices through the EarthView program, and adhere to safety standards including MSDS and OSHA guidelines. The work environment requires standing for extended periods and physical activities such as walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
HHM Hotels offers competitive wages for both full-time and part-time team members, alongside an impressive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, daily pay, free basic life insurance, 24/7 access to confidential work-life resources, travel discounts, commuter transit and parking benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, educational and professional development opportunities, and a referral bonus program. This comprehensive support system demonstrates the company’s dedication to employee well-being and career growth.
The bartender position involves a host of responsibilities such as managing customer interactions, ensuring drinks are prepared to standard, completing side work before shift end, and supporting the overall efficiency of bar operations. The ability to manage intoxicated guests responsibly and maintain high guest satisfaction scores is critical. Individuals with bartending or mixology experience are sought after, and while a high school diploma is preferred, certifications like TIPS and food sanitation are advantageous. This role is an excellent entry point for those aspiring to build a rewarding career in hospitality within a respected and ethical company.
