Bartender

We are currently seeking a full-time Bartender to join our team at Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown - Convention Center. This role is essential in providing outstanding beverage service to guests in our busy bar environment. The Bartender will be responsible for the full setup and breakdown of the bar, expertly mixing and serving drinks while adhering strictly to company standards and health regulations. The successful candidate will handle guest orders with professionalism and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest. This position requires flexibility with scheduling, including availability on weekends and holidays, primarily Thursday through Sunday shifts in the afternoon and evening hours.

As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in maximizing profits through efficient service and sales techniques, while also maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will be expected to have thorough knowledge of various types of beer, wine, and spirits, as well as state liquor laws and safe serving practices. Responsible cash handling and proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems are also key components of the role.
