We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at the Buffalo Marriott at LECOM HARBORCENTER. This position is available on both full-time and part-time bases, with a competitive pay rate starting at $10.70 per hour and an attractive benefits package. The Bartender role is vital in ensuring that our guests receive warm, friendly, and efficient service while enjoying our selection of beverages and light meals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

As a Bartender at Panorama on Seven, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational procedures. Your role will also include managing stock supplies and responding promptly to any guest-related concerns, helping to enhance the overall guest experience. While prior customer service and hospitality experience is beneficial, we welcome applicants who are enthusiastic and eager to grow within our team.

Job Requirements

  • craft cocktail experience preferred
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • flexible schedule
  • alcohol awareness certification an asset

Job Qualifications

  • minimum one year of experience in the restaurant food and beverage field
  • minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests management and co-workers
  • high school graduate or equivalent some college preferred
  • servsafe and/or food safety training a plus
  • alcohol awareness training such as TIPS
  • familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
  • ability to accurately compute basic mathematical calculations
  • bilingual English Spanish a plus
  • knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele

Job Duties

  • take orders prepare and serve alcoholic non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications
  • maintain stock supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment
  • be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
  • ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department
  • maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel Shaner and Franchise specifications
  • respond and handle guest related issues pertaining to the department
  • ensure communication with General Manager all other Department Managers Supervisors and Staff
  • other duties as assigned
