Job Description

Sodexo is a global leader in quality of life services, dedicated to enhancing the daily experiences of individuals through its comprehensive offerings in food service, facilities management, and integrated solutions. Operating across various industries and sectors worldwide, Sodexo prides itself on creating better everyday experiences for its customers and employees alike. The company emphasizes a supportive, inclusive work environment where respect, belonging, and equal opportunity are foundational values. With a commitment to social, economic, and environmental progress, Sodexo partners with clients to ensure high-quality service and memorable experiences that positively impact the communities they serve.

This part-time bartender position, located at Curry College, offers an excellent opportunity to join Sodexo’s vibrant team on weekends during afternoon and evening shifts. At a competitive wage of $22.75 per hour, this role is specifically designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced bar environment. Bartenders at Sodexo are responsible for mixing and serving drinks efficiently, both directly to patrons and through waitstaff, all while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

The role requires a blend of technical drink-making skills and strong interpersonal abilities, ensuring all guests receive prompt, courteous service. Working collaboratively with servers and other staff, the bartender helps to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to be on one’s feet for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and occasionally lift heavy items up to 50 pounds. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and be of legal age to serve alcohol. Preference is given to those with some prior bartending experience or knowledge of drink recipes.

Sodexo’s bartenders play a crucial role in maintaining inventory and ensuring the bar area is well-stocked and equipped. Through accurate opening counts and inventory management, they help maintain smooth operations throughout the shift. Attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and adherence to health and safety standards are all essential aspects of the job.

Working with Sodexo goes beyond just a job; it is a chance to be part of a team that values your individuality and supports your growth. Employees benefit from access to ongoing training and development opportunities, helping them advance their careers while enjoying flexible scheduling that respects their personal lives. Sodexo also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support physical, financial, and educational well-being, including paid time off, health plans, tuition reimbursement, 401k options, and various discounts.

Given Sodexo’s global footprint and contractual business model, some responsibilities and benefits may vary depending on location. Candidates are encouraged to ask detailed questions about specifics during the interview process to fully understand their role and rewards.

If you desire a dynamic, supportive work environment where your contributions are appreciated and you can grow professionally while helping create exceptional customer experiences, this bartender position at Curry College with Sodexo is an ideal match.
