As a Bartender at Red Lobster, you play a critical role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will be the first point of contact for guests seated at the bar, warmly welcoming them with a smile and creating a friendly atmosphere. Your duties include setting up the bar before service, ensuring that all beverages, glassware, and garnishes are properly stocked and ready for use. You will skillfully prepare drinks to the exact recipes, using standard glassware and appropriate garnishes, and recommend drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the guests' dining experience. In addition, you will manage order accuracy by entering customer orders into the POS system efficiently and check back with guests regularly to ensure they are satisfied with their drinks and meals, offering refills and clearing tables when necessary. Closing out guest checks promptly and inviting guests to return are also essential responsibilities. In adhering to all food safety standards, you maintain a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff. This full-time role requires a team player who can thrive under the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended shifts and lifting up to 30 pounds. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend reach stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • Setting up the bar including pour and glassware stations prior to opening and limited restocking beverages mixes garnishes as needed
  • Suggestively selling drinks appetizers and desserts
  • Making all drinks to standard using the recipe glassware and garnish
  • Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS properly
  • Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Following all food safety standards
