Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned restaurant chain with a rich history that began as a family-owned establishment devoted to bringing a special connection to seafood and coastal dining experiences. With over fifty years of dedication, Red Lobster has grown into a family of more than 500 restaurants, each reflecting the founding passion for quality and community. More than just a place to eat and work, Red Lobster proudly serves as a hub where customers share their favorite meals and create memorable moments. It is deeply embedded in the communities it serves, turning new friends into familiar faces. This established legacy emphasizes not only excellent cuisine but also fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for employees and guests alike.

The role of a Bartender at Red Lobster is integral to maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality for which the brand is known. This position offers weekly pay, competitive salaries, flexible schedules, and access to medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service. Employees are also eligible for anniversary pay upon meeting eligibility requirements, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Moreover, Red Lobster invests in the growth and advancement of its team by providing training and career opportunities.

As a Bartender, candidates are expected to welcome guests with a smile, prepare the bar stations including pouring stations and glassware before opening, and replenish beverages, mixes, and garnishes as necessary. The role involves suggesting beverage pairings, appetizers, and desserts to enhance guests' dining experiences and preparing drinks following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Bartenders accurately take food and drink orders, use a POS system, ensure attentive service by offering drink refills, clearing items promptly, and delivering timely bill settlement. A strong focus on adhering to food safety standards is essential to maintain the quality and safety customers expect.

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet physical job demands, including bending, reaching, crouching, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds, as well as the ability to stand for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking skills are critical in delivering excellent customer service. Red Lobster is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities and making reasonable adjustments to enable all employees to perform their essential duties successfully.

Red Lobster is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that fosters a welcoming workplace for all, supporting employment equality regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. With exciting plans for the future, Red Lobster is a great place to grow your career in a vibrant, supportive environment that values every team member and the unique contributions they bring.
