Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bartending experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV Gaming and Alcohol Awareness work cards
- Comfortable handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver items up to 160 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in smoky, noisy, hot or cold indoor environments
- Must be team-oriented
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Experience with POS systems
- Sound judgment in customer service
- Verify right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Experience providing high-touch guest service in a fun, high-energy environment
- Knowledge of beers, spirits, and wines
- Comfortable with self-banking
- Team-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a high-paced environment
- Experience exercising sound judgment in difficult guest situations
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Proficient with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators
- At least 21 years of age

- Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards

Job Duties
- Greet guests in an upbeat and positive manner
- Enthusiastically demonstrate knowledge of beer, spirits, wines, and menu items, including house specials, item descriptions, ingredients, and preparation techniques
- Use non-intrusive suggestive selling techniques to sell beverages and food items at the bar
- Take beverage and food orders according to service standards
- Serve and replenish drinks in a timely manner, offer refills or new drinks when the glass is half full
- Input orders accurately into POS system using Universal Seating guidelines
- Resolve guest complaints ensuring satisfaction and communicate to management
- Handle and count all cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Adhere to proper par stock ordering procedures
- Enforce customer limit regulations appropriately
- Verify age of guests using identification procedures
- Explain player’s club benefits and enroll new members
- Review daily event calendar and be familiar with current promotions
- Print vouchers, reprint player cards, issue pin codes, enroll new players
- Issue jackpot payouts and cash-outs for gaming players
- Enter jackpot data accurately into the system
- Check coolers, order and stock bar supplies, manage CO2 tanks and beer keys
- Maintain cleanliness of tavern, including bar, dining room, restrooms
- Accept payment and settle checks accurately
- Extend courteous departures to guests
- Maintain knowledge of tavern events and local activities
- Ensure food and drinks meet health and safety guidelines
- Assist team members with food running and side work
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
