The role of Bartender at Muckleshoot Casino Resort is a dynamic and rewarding position designed for individuals passionate about mixology, guest service, and working in a fast-paced luxury resort setting. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.13 with opportunities for discretionary performance bonuses twice a year, reflecting the resort's commitment to recognizing and rewarding employee contributions. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting a wide array of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages with precision and creativity, using advanced mixology techniques and premium ingredients. Additional responsibilities include training new bartenders, maintaining inventory and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness of bar equipment, and supporting an orderly and efficient bar environment. Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Class III B Gaming License
  • 1 year of experience in bartending
  • Bartending school or equivalent training preferred
  • Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit
  • Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12
  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Ability to obtain a Class III B Gaming License
  • Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12
  • Knowledge of premium spirits, wines, champagne, and other luxury beverages
  • Knowledge of the BERG liquor dispensing system
  • Knowledge of P.O.S. systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and safety regulations
  • Skilled in basic math
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Ability to speak and read English, comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Create and serve a wide range of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages with precision and artistry
  • Promote positive guest relations and consistently prompt service and engage in conversations, recommend drinks based on guest preferences, and deliver a memorable experience that exceeds expectations
  • Engage in suggestive selling techniques to promote premium and specialty beverages, maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Assist in training new bartenders, ensuring consistency in beverage preparation, service standards, and knowledge
  • Take daily inventory and stock supplies
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment
  • Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlets
  • Create, maintains, and facilitate a positive work environment
  • promote positive team member relations and report issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Other duties as assigned
