This culture does not just live on its website but is actively practiced from the corporate office to the field, earning accolades from employees who recognize HVMG as one of the best management companies they have worked for. HVMG believes in providing equal opportunities for career growth, emphasizing that successful career paths can start at any position within the organization. The company's philosophy is that employees control their destiny; for instance, someone starting as a dishwasher can rise to become a Senior Vice President. HVMG is committed to diversity and inclusion, adhering strictly to equal opportunity employment laws, and ensuring fair policies in all aspects of employment, such as selection, job assignments, pay, promotion, and access to benefits and training.
The role of a Hotel Bartender/Mixologist at HVMG offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity within this nurturing environment. Hourly wages for this position are set at $17.50, reflecting the value placed on skilled hospitality professionals. As a bartender/mixologist, you will be the heart of the hotel bar's lively atmosphere, crafting both classic and innovative cocktails that provide an exceptional guest experience. Your expertise will combine a passion for hospitality with strong attention to detail and a creative flair for mixology.
In this role, your responsibilities will range from mixing and serving beverages to ensuring the bar area is neat, organized, and well-stocked. You will engage directly with guests, crafting drinks tailored to their preferences while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor that aligns with HVMG's standards. Reporting to the Beverage Manager or Bar Supervisor, you will be part of a motivated team focused on delivering high-quality service.
The position is well suited to candidates with experience working in high-paced bar environments, particularly those who have a history of excellence in hotel settings. Educational background combined with practical experience of at least five years is preferred, alongside certifications such as bartender certification which will be highly regarded. Flexibility is crucial as the schedule may include evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
This opportunity can serve as a gateway to further career advancement within hospitality, with potential paths leading to roles such as bar manager, sommelier, or food and beverage manager. HVMG supports your professional growth and offers a range of benefits designed to enhance your work-life balance and financial security. Benefits include paid time off, comprehensive healthcare covering medical, dental, and vision care, a 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period, as well as exclusive hotel and food and beverage discounts. Moreover, associates can access up to 40% of their earned wages before payday through PayActive, enhancing financial flexibility.
HVMG’s commitment to flexible scheduling and career development ensures that team members not only succeed but thrive in their roles. Working as a hotel bartender/mixologist with HVMG means joining a forward-thinking, supportive, and professional team dedicated to excellence in guest service and employee satisfaction.
