We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has a background working in fashionable bar environments or upscale restaurants and boutique hotels. The position involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience, and ensuring prompt service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as meals.
In addition to crafting exquisite cocktails and serving drinks, the Bartender will be expected to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment, monitor stock and supplies, and accurately process orders and payments using the Micros system. The role requires a strong attention to detail to ensure all guest checks are closed properly, and all closing reports in the point-of-sale system are completed at the end of each shift. The Bartender must have comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and allergens, to effectively answer guest questions.
This position requires a minimum of two years of bartending experience or equivalent training, along with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality of guest information, and collaborate seamlessly with team members. Certification such as TIPS and Food Sanitation is advantageous, with the Food Sanitation certificate expected to be obtained within 90 days of employment if not already held. Our ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to perform basic arithmetic for order and payment processing, and the capability to think clearly under pressure while making sound judgments.

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- TIPS certified a plus
- Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training
- Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment
Job Duties
- Greet guests and take food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive/up-selling techniques
- Retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and meals to guests courteously and efficiently according to restaurant specifications
- Maintain stock/supplies and cleanliness of bar and equipment
- Inputting orders accurately and ensuring transmission of food orders are verified by the kitchen
- Collect and process payments, close all guest checks in the Micros system immediately upon payment
- Ensure all closing reports are completed in the POS at the end of your shift
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all work areas as instructed by the MOD
- Have full knowledge and understanding of all menus and are able to answer questions in regard to ingredients and allergens
