We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders who are passionate about providing first-class service and incredible hospitality to join our team. As a Bartender at The Pacific Catch, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience by crafting beverages, sharing your knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, and engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction. This position is part-time, hourly, and non-exempt, offering a competitive wage of $16.90 per hour. While schedules may vary weekly with no guaranteed set hours, weekend availability is mandatory to meet the demands of our busy service times.
The Bartender reports directly to the General Manager and is expected to uphold the company’s Core Values, Hospitality Standards, and Team Member Standards throughout all interactions. You will be responsible for maintaining an inviting and efficient bar area, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels of inventory and supplies. Additionally, you will promote beverages, recommend items from the drink menu, take accurate orders, process payments, and occasionally assist as a server to maintain smooth restaurant operations.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
- must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to five hours
- must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- weekend availability is a must
Job Qualifications
- High school education
- minimum one year experience in restaurant or customer service industry preferred
- knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes and base ingredients
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to deliver excellent guest service
- ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Treat guests with first-class service and hospitality
- present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions
- take orders and promptly serve food and drink
- check in with guests regarding their experience
- up-sell beverages when possible
- record drink or food orders accurately into POS
- accept and process guest payments and provide correct change
- fill in as a server as needed
- maintain inventory and restock bar supplies
- ensure cleanliness of bar area including counters, tables, floors, and equipment
- maintain bottles and glasses attractively and functionally
- wash and sterilize glassware as needed
