The role available is a part-time Bartender position with potential to transition into full-time, offering a starting wage of $16.27 per hour. This role is located within the DoubleTree by Hilton Denver property and is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a drive to create memorable guest experiences. The Bartender will be responsible for engaging customers at the bar with genuine warmth and professionalism, preparing and serving beverage orders accurately in a timely manner. The position requires weekend availability specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • current bartender certification or license
  • 2-4 years of bartending experience
  • knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits
  • ability to work weekend nights including Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
  • understand the details of the bar to enhance conversation
  • work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • assist guests with concerns and guide them to satisfactory resolution
  • finalize the experience with timely and accurate bill presentation
  • requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
  • maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and portion control
  • input orders into a register at point of sale and create checks
  • lock up and store all beverages, food and equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank
