Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-established seafood restaurant chain with more than 500 locations, originating from a family-owned restaurant with a passion to connect people to the seafood and coastal experience. For over fifty years, Red Lobster has been dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences where every seat in their family of restaurants serves not just food, but moments that people cherish with friends and family. Known for its commitment to community involvement, Red Lobster fosters an environment where new relationships flourish into familiar connections, making it more than just a place to eat or work. The company emphasizes creating a welcoming atmosphere and continuously providing excellent customer service to deliver memorable meals and special moments.
The role of Bartender at Red Lobster is an integral part of maintaining the welcoming and inviting dining experience the brand is known for. This position involves more than just serving drinks—it requires engaging with guests warmly, suggesting menu items like drinks, appetizers and desserts to enhance their dining experience, and ensuring all beverages are prepared according to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Bartenders at Red Lobster are expected to prepare the bar thoroughly before service by cleaning and stocking it, manage orders accurately through the POS system, and consistently follow food safety and hygiene protocols. The role demands excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, all while standing for shifts that may last between 8 to 12 hours. Red Lobster offers competitive weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance plans starting under $10 per week. Additionally, there are life insurance options, short-term disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay, discounted meals during shifts, and further discounts when dining as a guest.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a growing, dynamic company with significant plans for the future. The organization prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer that provides an inclusive and welcoming workplace regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. This commitment reinforces Red Lobster’s dedication to fostering a supportive and diverse work environment where employees can thrive and build meaningful careers. For those who want to be part of a family-oriented company that values passion, teamwork, and community impact, the Bartender role at Red Lobster offers a rewarding opportunity to grow and succeed in the hospitality industry.
