Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned American casual dining restaurant chain specializing in seafood, operating more than 500 locations across the country. It started as a family-owned establishment driven by a passion to connect people with the flavors and culture of the coast through fresh, delicious seafood. Over more than fifty years, the company has grown into a beloved dining destination that is proud to serve communities nationwide, fostering a welcoming environment where new friends become familiar faces. Red Lobster stands out not only for its signature seafood dishes but also for its commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences and valuing its employees by offering competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth and career development. The company offers weekly pay, flexible schedules, competitive salaries, and insurance benefits starting at less than $10 per week, including medical, dental, and vision plans. Additionally, employees can access life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay (subject to eligibility), discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster prides itself on creating a family atmosphere where employees are trained and promoted from within, supporting upward mobility and personal development.

The role of a Bartender at Red Lobster involves being a crucial part of the guest experience by providing friendly and efficient beverage service in a dynamic restaurant environment. Bartenders are responsible for preparing the bar area, including pour stations and glassware, before opening and throughout the shift, restocking beverages, mixes, and garnishes as needed. They greet guests warmly when seated, suggestively recommend drinks, appetizers, and desserts, and accurately prepare all beverages according to standardized recipes using the proper glassware and garnishes. Bartenders take precise food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system accurately. Ensuring guests receive attentive service includes offering drink refills, clearing unused items, and delivering bills promptly while thanking guests and inviting them to return. Maintaining all food safety regulations is mandatory to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Candidates must meet the minimum age requirement, have the legal right to work in the U.S., and possess physical capabilities such as bending, reaching, stooping, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds, as well as the endurance to stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking skills are crucial for success. The company also makes reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Red Lobster is excited about its future growth plans, and this is an ideal time to join their team and be part of a company committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
