The position of Bartender at the Chicago Airport F&B location is an integral role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality beverage preparation to travelers in a fast-paced airport setting. Working as a Bartender with HMSHost means being the face of the company’s hospitality services and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. This is a non-exempt position typically reporting to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager based on local guidelines. The Bartender must have a keen awareness of alcohol service regulations to prevent intoxication and manage difficult situations professionally. Communication is key, as the Bartender coordinates with servers and management to ensure efficient service and timely fulfillment of orders. To excel in this role, experience in bartending within high-volume or fast-casual dining environments is preferred, along with a solid knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
