As a leader in senior care and lifestyle, The Marshes of Skidaway Island blends superior amenities with personalized attention, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters meaningful relationships with residents. Known for its commitment to quality, the community offers a range of services designed to support the social, physical, and emotional well-being of older adults. Employees at The Marshes experience a workplace where their contributions are valued and their professional growth is encouraged through various benefits and development programs. The establishment prides itself on maintaining high standards of integrity and inclusion, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and residents.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our Food and Beverage team as part-time and full-time Bartenders. This role is key in delivering excellent hospitality experiences within our community, ensuring residents and guests receive attentive, friendly service in a social and engaging setting. Bartenders at The Marshes of Skidaway Island play a vital role in elevating the overall atmosphere of our dining and social spaces by preparing and serving drinks accurately and efficiently, upholding all safety and quality standards.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 per hour with additional shift differentials that can increase pay by up to $1.00 per hour depending on the shift worked. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with a requirement for availability on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays. This flexibility accommodates various candidate needs and enhances the community's ability to deliver consistent, high-quality service throughout the week.

Beyond monetary compensation, The Marshes of Skidaway Island offers a unique value proposition to its team members. We provide a professional environment where individuals feel truly appreciated and have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents, enriching their work experience. The community supports staff through an appealing array of benefits including a generous scholarship program aimed at furthering education and career advancement, complimentary meals during shifts, an annual holiday bonus to recognize employee dedication, special recognition weeks that reward outstanding performance, and free uniforms to simplify work attire. Additional conveniences include free parking and eligibility for a comprehensive full benefits package, which underscores the organization’s investment in employee well-being.

One standout feature of employment at The Marshes is the DailyPay program, which allows employees to access their earned income on-demand. This initiative supports financial flexibility and empowers team members to manage their earnings according to personal needs, reflecting the community’s forward-thinking approach to employee care.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and bring previous bartending experience to ensure confidence and skill behind the bar. Weekend and evening availability is essential given the operational hours and community engagement times. Prospective employees must also be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening, aligning with the community’s commitment to safety and professionalism. Individuals with a passion for hospitality and senior engagement who thrive in a compassionate, senior care-oriented setting will find this role rewarding and fulfilling.

The Marshes of Skidaway Island is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer that participates in E-Verify and maintains a drug-free workplace.
