Known for its timeless hospitality, the hotel masterfully blends classic elegance with modern comfort, offering guests an experience that is both steeped in history and thoughtfully evolved to meet contemporary standards. This renowned hotel is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join its dynamic hospitality team. The role offers the opportunity to work in an upscale environment where providing exceptional guest service is paramount. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to established recipes and service standards that reflect the hotel's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires a deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, coffee, and brunch beverage offerings, ensuring that every drink served enhances the guest experience.
In this role, the Bartender will serve as a key ambassador of The Heathman Hotel's hospitality values, delivering warm, attentive, and engaging service that anticipates guest needs and creates personalized, memorable experiences. Responsibilities extend beyond drink preparation to include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, managing inventory and stocking, and collaborating closely with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The Bartender will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and legal alcohol service regulations, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to responsible and professional operations.
Ideal candidates will have prior bartending experience in similar upscale environments such as restaurants, hotels, or exclusive hospitality venues. They should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a polished and approachable demeanor, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced setting. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the ability to safely lift and carry bar supplies, is essential.
The Heathman Hotel, part of the Makeready collection, offers its team members a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, happiness, and overall well-being. Eligible employees enjoy access to medical, dental, and vision coverage, maternity and paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care and 401k programs, a student loan repayment plan, and numerous ancillary benefits.
