Reporting directly to the General Manager or Front of House Manager, bartenders at PJ Whelihan's are expected to embody several key personality traits that contribute to a successful, engaging workforce. In the role, bartenders are expected to greet guests enthusiastically and take beverage orders accurately from both patrons and serving staff. Proper identification verification for patrons 35 and younger is mandatory to ensure compliance with legal drinking age laws. Accurate and prompt recording of orders into the register system, handling cash, processing credit card transactions, and making change are critical to smooth operations.
